I'm lucky enough that this beautiful building is only a short walk from my apartment. I just wish I could get inside to take some pictures but so far no luck.

Taken with my Tokina 11-16mm wide-angle. I'm more in love with this lens all the time.

Took the bus downtown and visited the main branch of the Seattle Public Library. A very interesting building. Lots of places to try fun photos!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Well,  since the seattle photo group is perhaps being revived,  I'll post a few images to it.  :)

On Jan 19 the full moon rose behind downtown from the perspective of Alki.  There were probably 40 photographers all arranged on the pier near where the water taxi departs,  I ignored them all and got my own set of images.  (see my blog for more)

There are so many beautiful things there to photograph!! On those gray and rainy Seattle days the Convention Center is a place you can go and still get very cool photos!

I recently purchased a Tokina 11-16MM F/2.8 ATX 116 Lens and I have to tell you that so far I am loving it. To me, the Seattle area is absolutely made for wide-angle shots. The extraordinary vistas just seem to beg for it.

Even though I'm still learning, I'm not unhappy with this shot.

Taken along Alki Beach not far from Salty's.
